Sports massage is a great way to prepare for that marathon or big game or athletic event.  It is typically a 30 minute session.  The therapist uses a light amount of oil or lotion to apply to the body.  Long gliding strokes are used to warm the body, followed by kneading strokes and compressions, rocking, and shaking of the muscles.   These techniques get the muscles ready for action!
